A 60-day pilot with 3–5 of your clients.
See the work before you decide anything. We agree the measures with you up front and report back against them at the end. SMEInspect is people-led: our analysts do the work, backed by impartial tools that compare the market.
Measures agreed before we start
- Findings within 5 business days of receiving each client's bills, in writing, with every option compared, including staying as they are.
- Savings identified, in dollars and as a share of each client's spend in the categories we review. We report what we actually find.
- Nothing changes without approval: each client approves every change first, and sees any supplier commission in dollars before they do.
- Changes live within 60 days for everything the client approves (energy can wait for a contract end; we'll say when).
- Savings confirmed on the bills, checked on the first bill after each change, not assumed.
- About 30 minutes of your time per client: choosing them, asking their consent and an introduction. We do the rest.
Clients most likely to benefit
- 10 to 200 staff, ideally more than one site or venue
- Pays its own card and energy bills: not a franchise with head-office suppliers, and power not supplied by the landlord
- On Xero (or happy to forward a few bills)
- Not already using an energy or telco broker
- Ideally an energy, phone or card contract ending in the next six months
Multi-venue hospitality, dental, medical, vet and allied-health clinics, and childcare groups usually fit well.
Nothing beyond our normal terms
- No review fee for the clients you refer.
- 25% of the first year's saving, only once it shows on a bill. No saving, no fee.
- Your practice chooses how it's involved: a referral fee of half of what each client pays us, up to A$400 per client; your own fee, charged yourself; or nothing at all, passed to your client. Each is disclosed to the client in writing.
Sixty days, four steps
Week 0
We agree the clients and the measures with you, in writing. Each client gives consent and connects Xero or forwards their bills.
Weeks 1–2
Our analysts review card fees, energy, phone and internet, software and waste, and send each client written findings, with a copy to you if they agree.
Weeks 3–8
With each client's approval, we negotiate or switch, handle the paperwork and check the first bill.
Day 60
A short pilot report to you: each measure against what we agreed, savings identified, live and confirmed, and how long each step took. You decide what happens next.
Your clients' data is used only for their review, with their consent, under our privacy policy, and deleted if they don't go ahead. You can stop the pilot at any time.
