No hidden incentives. Here's the whole picture.
You should know exactly how we make money and why it won't affect what we recommend. There are two ways.
Our success fee
25% of the first year's saving, charged once the saving is live on your bill. If we don't save you money, you don't pay it.
Supplier commissions
Some suppliers pay a commission when they win a new customer, just as they pay brokers and comparison sites. When one applies, we tell you the amount in dollars before you approve the change.
How we keep commissions out of our advice
We rank on your total cost
Options are ordered by what they'll cost you. The system that ranks them can't see what any supplier pays us.
We show the whole market
Including suppliers who pay us nothing. If they're the best deal, that's what we recommend.
We disclose every dollar
Before you approve a change, you see exactly what that supplier will pay us, in dollars.
We measure honestly
Savings are measured against your current rates or your supplier's renewal offer, whichever is higher. Using less doesn't count as our saving.
What we'll never do
- Recommend a supplier because it pays us more.
- Hide a commission or describe it vaguely.
- Make a change without your approval.
- Count a drop in your usage as our saving.
